Christmas tree round II
Nothing quite like redecorating the Christmas tree. We noticed the string of lights at the very top of the tree were not working. I got the bright idea of getting one of those light testers to find the bad bulb. I wouldn’t recommend it. The directions say to hold it close to the light and if the little tester light glows you have found your bad bulb, the silly light glows red 6" from the tree. Decided to take the light sting off the tree but first you have to remove all the decorations. Got the light string off the tree and tried the little bulb checker one more time. It works better now that the light are strung out in a straight line and not wrapped around the tree. Found the bad bulb but it kept blowing new bulbs so to be safe we trashed that string and put a brand new string back on the tree. When we were putting decorations back on the tree I accused Penny of getting more out, it seemed like they were multiplying. We finally got things back in order and looking good again.
Found a neat little life saver for you if you happen to use a fresh cut Christmas tree. I bought one of these Christmas tree waterers It’s a knee saver. Penny thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Our daughter used be the official water checker. Now that she’s gone it fell to one of us and since one of us can’t get on his hands and knees Penny took over the job. Me being the ever loving caring husband that I am decided to try this. I would highly recommend one or something like it.

pictures needed of the tree!
