string
Today was pretty much a do nothing day for me. Last night cool damp weather blew in, this morning we awoke to fog and freezing weather. Didn’t get out of the house until later on this afternoon. We have a light fixture in the garage that has a chain with a string attached to it to turn it off and on. The string broke about 3 years ago so today I finally got around to fixing it. Tells you how far behind my list is. Penny wanted to go to the Dollar store so I tagged along since we needed some string, three stores a trip to the inlaws and two hours later we finally made it home with the string. I managed to get it attached to the light fixture Penny is back in business. It’s not like she was in the dark before there are two sets of fluorescent light in the garage but this little 70 watt bulb seems to cast more light.
Saturday we both worked outside in the front yard. We wrapped our tree trunk with lights and set a few lighted decorations out. Our son gave us a couple sets of the lights you drape over a bush, we put those over some shrubs. I drilled some holes and put some eye bolts in the corners of the carport for our Santa and Gingerbread man windsocks. There are four houses on our side of the street and three of them now have lights and decorations in their yard. Makes our little corner of the world look pretty.

pictures required! (pretty please!)

Do you want it of the garage light or just the string I attached to it?
